The areas we currently cover are listed below but are not limited to:
- All of London (if inside Congestion Charging zone or upcoming ULEZ zone additional charges apply to cover cost of entry into zone)
- All of Surrey
- All of Sussex
- Parts of Kent
- Parts of Essex
- Parts of Buckinghamshire
- Parts of Hertfordshire
We have also treated some individuals much farther than the areas listed above for specific reasons, such as disabled patients with no easy way to access primary dental care services, so if you feel you fall into this category please contact us and we can discuss with you what we feel is your best course of action. There is a surcharge for these cases which is a flat rate of £15 which is added onto the price of the appointment.
Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) Update
We can still treat patients within the ULEZ but with a caveat. The upcoming Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will become active from 8 April 2019. The daily charge runs from midnight to midnight, 7 days a week, every day of the year, within the same area as the current Congestion Charging Zone (CCZ). We are very disappointed that we have been pushed into a position where we have to alter our catchment area. We completely understand that the London Mayor is trying to reduce emissions in Central London but we were very surprised to learn that our 2015 plate Ford Transit Connect would not meet the standard.
We ultimately had to make a decision not to treat patients in the ULEZ area as it is not financially viable for us to do so. We will however, still visit the area within the Congestion and ULEZ zone if the patient requesting treatment would like to pay the charge (which will be added to the price of treatment). The congestion charge is £15.00 and the ULEZ charge is £12.50 so £27.50 will be added to the price of treatment. There may be occasions when the price of the charge is paid the day after treatment so the congestion charge will be £17.50. You will be notified by email if this happens.
PLEASE NOTE: In October 2021 the ULEZ zone is extending to include all areas inside the North and South Circular at which time anyone living within that zone will need to pay the charge as well.
